  • Yeshivat Chovevei Torah Rabbinical School and Lincoln Square Synagogue invite the entire community to the seventh annual Community Yom Iyun on December 25, 2007 on the topic of "The Shemitta Year and Us Today".

    The program will take place at Lincoln Square Synagogue (200 Amsterdam Ave. corner of 69th street) from 9:30 AM-12:30 PM.

    Speakers will include Rabbi Harel Gordin, Rabbi Nathaniel Helfgot, Rabbi Dov Linzer, Rabbi Ysoscher Katz and Rabbi Shaul Robinson. The program is free and open to the public. For more information please go to

  • The Commentator is honored to announce its forthcoming publication of Mentor of Generations: Reflections on the Life of Rabbi Joseph B.
