The Lookstein Center of Bar-Ilan University will be presenting a weekend program on Jewish education in conjunction with The Shul of Bal Harbour on January 4 - 6 in Bal Harbour, Florida. Entitled, "Hogwarts, Harvard, Hebrew School" highlights include:

* Shabbat program with -
Dr. Jeffrey Woolf, Senior Lecturer in Talmud at Bar-Ilan University
Rabbi Stuart Zweiter, Director of the Lookstein Center

* Saturday night program with Israeli comedian Yisrael Campbell - www.yisraelcampbell.com

* Sunday morning program on Web2.0 and Jewish education, presented by Lookstein Center staff members, Rabbi Shalom Berger, Ed.D. and Mrs. Esther Feldman, Director of Information Technology Services

TorahWeb is gratified that since February of 1999 we have been able to provide weekly original divrei Torah. In addition, TorahWeb organizes yemei iyun on contemporary religious and social issues at regular intervals. The audio and video of these yemi iyun is made available online. We are gratified at the harbotzas Torah which b'ezras Hashem has resulted from these undertakings.

While the rebbeim and the maintainers of the web site happily volunteer their time and services, there are costs associated with maintaining the web site and organizing the yemi iyun. Donations made to TorahWeb will help us continue our efforts. The TorahWeb Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, and all donations are tax-deductable.
