Bringing Food to Movies

Without endorsing the practice of going to the movies, let us ask the question about those who choose to do so but, because they keep kosher, bring their own popcorn to eat during the movie because, evidently, eating enhances the experience. From what I vaguely recall, movie theatres do not allow patrons to bring their own food. This is the case, of course, so the theatres can sell you their ridiculously expensive snacks. Is one allowed to sneak in food?

According to R. Yisroel Belsky, no. The theatres owners are selling you limited rights to use the theatres under their specific conditions. Violating those conditions is probably theft.
